Is there any way to play shorter games? For example 10 minute moves? Blitz chess is too fast for me.

only by agreeing with your opponent to make a move every ten minutes, though it's not an enforceable time limit. three days is minimum, aside from gk tourny games, which are two days.

Seriously, this has been requested in many different ways over the years and it is just not a priority with the powers that be. I agree with you. I wish there was an option to plat shorter games her because I love this site. Good Luck, Skip

Although I'd love playing at that pace, the game would have to be played in one sitting, and if the game goes into an endgame, it just ends up being a battle of who has the most time available to spend online.

Playing in the "blitz" area is for 10 minute games. But they are not rated nor kept track of .
