Message: Yes, it is definitely allowed. There is no way to avoid computer analysis when using a database, and databases in general are allowed. The top level GMs (and many others) all analyze their openings with computers -- should you not be allowed to look at their games while playing here? In fact, some of your knowledge of chess almost definitely comes from computer analysis already -- should you not be allowed to use all you know?
I'm not trying to say that it's a stupid question, I'm just trying to be persuasive. Computer analysis is allowed all you want before and after a game (and during the game you just have to analyze different positions than those on the board) -- Gameknot does not require you to slow down your learning while playing here.
