Subject: Comments gone?
Message: I haven't been on this site that long, but it seems to me that comments in public games used to be available. Now, clicking on someone else's game brings up a version of the "analyze" board, without comments. Was this change, and the reason for it, announced somewhere?

Message: If you open gameknot.com/chess.pl?bd=boardnumber, you can still read player's comments, given they are set to be public (standard it is this way, but this can be changed under Game settings gameknot.com/bdcfg.pl?bd=boardnumber). Try for example gameknot.com ( game)

gameknot.com/show_games.pl?id=playername
gameknot.com
This page has links to the chess.pl?bd= page, where comments can be read.

Message: So, if someone wants to read the comments in my game, they must enter the URL manually with the board number? There is no way simply to click through to a display that shows them, in the current version? I'm a bit confused.

Message: I cannot see what the gain is by changing the active games list to what it is now... and why the pop-up stuff needs to be acceesable twice (via the "move" column AND the "title" column).
In addition, it seems that the active games are displayed with a max of 50 games per page. You can't skim through all 200 active games with one look anymore, but skipping between pages.
So, as long as it's available, I'll stick with the old layout, even if it requires some typing.

Message: Now on the analyze board: comments from the players are shown there now as well, under the "comments" tab. Also you can scroll through the game using the scroll wheel of your mouse and using the left and right arrows. Up and down arrows make you go to the beginning and end of the game.
