 Subject: DO I ADVANCE TO NEXT ROUND?

entered the large tourney. GK39. casual section. the person who won it is above 1300. i am in second place. now i understand he will be bumped up to intermediate in round 2 but do i bump up as well as being the highest scorer in round 1 with a rating below 1300?

I believe if a player is moved up to the next section due to rating increase then the next placed player adances to the next round in that section.
