It's true.......

Message:
that the first round in the 15th takes very long. I'm also waiting for the next round. But why do we have to complain? Postponement is allowed. And there might just be good reasons for the postponements.

Wait a minute, sluo?!?`

You of all people is complaining about the tournamnt is holding up. I remember you holding up the next round 10ht gk tournament by refusing to resign a lost gameagainst puchu. you waited until the last minute to make youur move and postponed the game repeatedly.

And in another tournament copied another players move, and played the same moves as black as he did with black.

How can you even have the shame to post such a thing?

patience

Message:
Sluo,
I am afraid you must be as patient as other players were forced to be patient in 2003 (12th GK tournament, board #767450).
Similar to this case, in 2003 another player (not directly involved) rose the former thread - with a lot of reactions. Maybe some of these might be helpful.

I did not complain

Message:
Unlike some whining babies, I do not complain as long as community rules are not violated. I started this thread just to let people know about a fact of a flawed system.

Actually, I like the hold up because I am trying to reduce my chess playing time ...

But you did the exactly same thing that you complained about. Repetedly postponements.

And the most unsportsmanly person on gameknot should in my opinion just simply shut up.

You can easily check out that. Either by win/loss/draw table or going to my profile. We have never met.

Has it ever occured to you that reason could be that you behaved in the wrong way?

what's the difference between copying the moves of someone playing online vs copying the moves you read in a book?

sluo

Message:
did not copy his opponent's moves; instead he followed the moves of a master game.

In my opinion this forum is not intended to make false accusations and to insult the same player ad nauseam.

come on, stop buying sluos bullshit.

he playes two games simultaneosly with one player and copied his opponents move in order to draw both games.

Because of what happpened in 10th and 12th gk tournament that should be obvious.

No, hold on there smolensk, my friend! ;-)

What do you mean by "copy?" Merely playing the same moves as someone else doesn't do it. Can you prove that he used the game you say he copied as a source? I'd like some evidence here before you make such accusations. Moreover, why couldn't the other player deviate from the copied game if he were so worried about it?

Of course i´have no proof, anaxagoras, but since know what sluo did before and take it for granted. There was a thread started by xoric, you can read more about it there.

Well, i am probably not the only one saying he when it should be "he or she", if all women started to say "she" all the time, i would be a little offended, so i should stick to "he or she" from now on.

By the way, i would not be surprised if sluo is a boy and play in a woman-only tournament, not at all.

draw both games?

Message:
Smolensk, I am confused. From what I can see Sluo has played only 8 draws, no two of which were against the same player, so the tactics you are ascribing to Sluo would appear to have been singularly unsuccessful. There are some players who do try that stunt, but they quickly learn that it doesn't work. I am not convinced that Sluo is one of those people.

sluo

Message:
certainly did not intend to draw both games; in fact sluo won both games.

They followed the game Smirin-Foisor, Groningen 1990 and the game Magem Badals-Illescas Cordoba, Pamplona 1996.

The games in question were identical up to White's 9th (ninth) move, at which point sluo's opponent deviated from the master game, whereas the game in which sluo was Black, followed the master game for another move.

The accusation that sluo copied the opponent's moves is meaningless. If someone plays 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.d4 against me in a two-game match, then I have the full right to play in the other game 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.d4 as well, since these moves are in my repertoire. I always open my games with 1.e4 and I always answer 1.e4 with 1... e5; after that I always play 2.Nf3 etc. What on earth could forbid me to play my favorite moves? The fact that my opponent plays them as well??

The only problem I see with the games in question, is that sluo's opponent made annoying remarks during the game, which is unsportspersonlike behaviour. And the only cheating was done by those who discussed the games while they were ongoing.

I beg smolensk to stop with his aggressive remarks; they sound too much like a reincarnation of aggropolis.

be careful

Message:
Smolensk, the warning at the beginning of all forums here says "no direct insults will be tolerated" for you to blatantly state that "not even Sluo is that stupid" is, in my opinion as direct an insult as can possibly be made. Shame on you sir, where is your sense of honour? I am offended at your behaviour and am seriously tempted to complain about it to the approprate authority. Perhaps you could at least demonstrate the decency to admit here that she did in fact win both the games you are accusing her of cheating in.

Message:
It doesnt seem to you as if you reading my posts. What sluo did it in the past (10th and 12th gk tournamnt) doesnt mean that she is automatically guilty to any accusion, but in a case like this when the matters are unclear, it weighs heavily. Just look at the persons profile. He stalls games with 14 days per move where he or she is lost. In the post made by xoric the reason that sluo finallt stopped copying was given, he or she was forced to.

So now i am to be compared with aggropolis, a player i have never met, just because we are from the same country. Thats really bad argumentating.

You can complain to any authority about me, muppyman, it is your right. I have been rude, thats true, and there is no problem for me to admit that sluo won both games, since its a fact. His unsportsmanly play beared fruit.
