Subject: Point Seeker's Tournaments--My Ideas
Message: I just recently started a new tournament series known as the Point Seeker’s Tournaments. In these tournaments, the main goal is to gain points to reach the top 100 Mini-Tournament Player List. I have added a new twist however. In addition to gaining these points, the top 3 players in the mini-tournaments will be listed in my LIST OF HONOR on my profile page. Also, each 10th tournament, the winner will be awarded a silver membership which I will purchase as a reward. I hope to increase this to every tournament in the future, but I am currently a college student and can only afford so much. I am thinking that starting a tournament in which there is more at stake and more to win will encourage more people to get involved. I was wondering if starting mini-tournaments with a membership award or having a list of honor (other than the top 100 mini-tournament points) has ever been thought of or implemented before. If anyone has any suggestions or comments on my plan, please let me know. Thanks. I hope that I will see many of you there. I guarantee that these tournaments are high-action and exciting tournaments as much more is at stake—and it is a natural human reaction to try harder when there is more to win. Let me know what you all think.
