 Subject: consecutive GK tournaments
Message:
What is the most consecutive gameknot tournaments that you have played in? I am currently in 3 (35th-2nd round, 36th-waiting for 2nd round, and 37th-first round.) I will be in 4 when I start the 38th on September 10th.
What is the most GK tournaments you've been in at one time, and who do you think has played in the most consecutive GK tournaments?

I played in the 11th-21st, and then 24th through the 37th (with serious health problems in the middle). So that's 11 in a row and then 14 and counting. I bet there are people who have played in 30 or more in a row!?

.....in every GK tourney since #18. That makes #37 my 20th consecutive. I am currently still alive in #30, #31, #33, #35, #36, and #37. My best result to date is overall 3rd place in GK #22.

I havent progressed as far as tag1153 , only ever managed 3rd round . But I started playing in no. 15 , so I beat you by 3 Thomas my mate . lol

........I don't think I'll ever make up that 3 tourney difference (unless I quit smoking and you get stranded on a deserted island;). I will, however, catch you on the mini-tourney points list. Mark my words - I will surpass you by January 1, 2009:) The gauntlet is thrown!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tag, I see you are still alive in 6 GK tournaments. Is anyone else still alive in more at the current time? What is the most consecutive GK tournaments that a person is still alive in? Just a few other interesting questions.
I progressed to round 2 in a very interesting fought battle in GK 37th--3 of us progressed with 4 points each. (: We really beat each other up. Has anyone seen a legitimate case where all 4 people progressed with 3 points each? I have seen one that was probably cheating (looking at the boards)...but not a legitimately fought battle resulting in 4 progressing.
By the way, blackbaron and tag1153--you may or may not be alive to see me pass both of you in the minitournament record book as well....as I am only 26 and I plan on being here until my death. Youth is on my side, and I will slowly take over all the records here....it may be awhile though. (: Watch yourselves--you aren't the only ones fighting for those records....I have 50+ years ahead of me. (:
As of Sept. 10, I am in 4 consecutive minitournaments and have progressed to round 2 in 35, 36, and 37.
