would like to keep playing team games.. -whats the problem u might ask?!
The thing is Ive been somewhat of a 1500 player ghost but has problems vs my own rating strength players, so im overrated this could affect our teamscore in a bad way.
Astinky has also matched me vs very chesswise inspirated players that has crushed me at times..
I will keep on playing games even though my inspiration for improving in chess (like I had a year ago) has declined.
I still love chess and think that my rating will decline with time.
Well is score and rating everything?
The question to u my teammates is should I play chess in your team or not?

Stay with us Gunnar. No reason to drop out of the team because of a negative team score. I know it can be hard on the motivation when you have losing streaks. I hope that soon team match ups are based on Elo rating rather than GK rating. The problem with GK rating is that you easily get overrated playing opponents weaker than yourself, and therefore might get a hard time in team games. I see from your past Elo history that it has been quite stable for at least half a year. If you want to measure improvement, do not measure it by your GK rating but by your Elo rating. I've seen players rated approximately 1700 by both Elo and GK rating, while others are 1400 Elo and 1700 GK. It shows how far from being accurate the old system was (you can't get more accurate than Elo, in my opinion). Try to get your mind off ratings for a while and try to just have fun playing. You might learn a lot from getting crushed by a stronger opponent :-) Personally, I find it fascinating to be ripped apart by a stronger player (daydreaming that I can be that good one day...)
