Welcome all members of outback chess. This will be the forum for discussion, news, messages etc.
So please let us know here if you are on vaccation, if you would like to play more or if you like to play less. Experiences with other teams or player and more. Suggestions, ideas everything which takes the team forward or is important for our socialising.

our goals are tuff, we want to play against the best teams and in the long term, we want to win.
All players with a medium or good rating, who play chess because they love the game and want to win and who play fair are very welcome to join the team. We would like to be a mixed team from all over the world.

glad to be on the team. Was on Hardcorepawn's team but he went missing. He either in the hospital, or just don't care no more. Since there has been no notice from anyone for about 3 weeks, i have chosen to leave. I can play 6 team games (3 matches) at a time, and more if necessary. I hope to get to know everyone and have a great time.

My real name is Joerg, I am 48 years old, living a little south of Hambourg in Germany and I am running my own company as a business consultant and business coach. We are round about 10 partners working all over Germany and in the EG. Chess I am playing since I am 6 years old, but stopped it at 30 and started over again a couple of weeks ago. I am married and we have a son together who is now nearly 6 years old. I just started to teach him chess. Will see how far we get. I am happy to be within the team and I hope we are climbing up the table.

I noticed seneca54 is starting up a bunch of team matches. It is a good experience to be on an upstart team. I just wanted to say, as a suggestion to the captain, anytime you start/accept a team challenge, you should post the matches of which team is playing us and who from the team is playing who, along with their respective ratings. This is what many Captains do. If you do not want to do this, don't of course. It just helps keep the forum updated, the team members informed, and communication up and running, which should be the main reason for a team. It would also be nice to know when new people join and any other current events that help the team. GL to everyone. -THe TOol
