I see we are still +1 against the Scandinavian Team, with 3 games left to finish. My 0.5 - 1.5 against Bimleydret this month didn't help much, but we still have a shot at salvaging the win, in the remaining closely fought games. Good luck guys!

Hello team,
You all posted a great number of posts. I like that very much, it makes us a real team. I saw sdr46 finished all his team games with a very good score. I need a 50% score in my remaining games to equal your score. I will try to score more points ofcourse ;-)
I’m in favour of a second mini tournament. Let’s see if we want to start that tournament even if the first one isn’t finished yet or if we want to wait until the first one is finished. I do think that we need to split the team in two parts if over 11 players are intrested.
I read that omus is intrested in more teamgames. Can you tell me your new maximum number of requested teamgames?
We have a new person who wants to join our team. His name is umpito. Since he is playing from the same computer as raylopez I take it that they are family (father-son?). Let’s vote if we want umpito as a new member of our team. I hope you are all willing to vote before 1.00 am sundaymorning GK time.
Tomorrow or Sunday I will make a new teamtable and look for some other matches.

what i would find interesting is the state of play in a match. i.e. if we are 1-0 up and how my games would affect the result? etc. this may be available I dont know...
Update on my games......judging by the fact that one or two have slowed down a bit I should still be in positive territory at Xmas (which was my goal)

Hello team:
I have two things to bring to your attention:
first: the non paying teammembers have a maximum of games the are allowed to play. A lot of you are playing that number now. If you still have some teamgames available in the teamlist but you fill up your games to your maximum with other games it makes it very hard for me to challenge teams. I sometimes talk about teammatches and offer people who are not available. If you still have room for teamgames when looking at the teamtable but you fill up your games to your maximum please let me know. I will check your status more often then if you are available again.
second: my son (superdonald) is now playing for another team. This team is not very active (only 8 games remaining and no match started within one month). I even challenged them once but the challenge was rejected. My son wants to leave this team (that is not so difficult) but he wants to join our team. He always watches me when I'm working on the teamtable, looking for matches etc.
The simple question. I would like to have an "aye" or a "no" from you all about my son joining our team. If enough players give me the "aye" he will leave his other team and then will join ours.

Hi Team,
I regret to report that I lost my first game against Energy of Team Norway. As a result we are down 1.5 - 2.5 against them. In my second game against Energy I am in a tough queen-and-pawns late-middle game. I still have a good shot at drawing and a slight chance of winning. The only other game is WizardofChess', a closed position where he looks to be at least equal. So we're still in the contest.
The game I lost, as Black, was a "Schlechter variation" of the Slav. I use the Slav as my main response to 1d4, but I haven't found a repost to 3e3 or 3Nc3 Nf6 4e3 that I am satisfied with. Does anybody here play the semislav in response to these, and how do you like it?

I've been playing the Slav a lot lately, and have found the a6 variation to be pretty good. So 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.e3 a6 followed by b5 afterwards. You should take a look at some games at www.chesslab.com with this variation if you don't have any reference books on it.
