Hindi ko alam kung may magagawa pa tayo. ------- Well, Kaisim said he was sorry about what had happened. He himsel didn't know how did it happen. He was supposed to match an equal player he said. I guess, we really can't do anything about this and I must stop whining. I received a message from Andrew and mukhang ok lang naman. He actually made the first move and waiting for another team games.
kai_sim 11/04/2003 17:58:42 [ report this post ]	my apologie Message: i actually had a player ready with the exact same rating. i must have been mixed up, confused or just hit the wrong checkbox. it's the first time that this happend to me and i feel very bad about it. if i could i would cancel the match, but it's not possible :( in the forums we (the captains) have a threat to mike going, that we demand a verification system in the team match up's the way how it works right now, is 1. captain A sends over his team mates 2. captain B matches and the games start what we demand is: 1. captain A sends over his team mates 2. captain B matches 3. match up's go back to captain A and he needs to review 4. captain A agrees and the matches start we think that it's not hard to implement and look forward to have this implemented soon. after all, we all are humans and that makes us unique, together with our mistakes and errors. once more again, i am very sorry about it and it shouldn't have happen after all the matches i paired in the past. please accept my apologie best regards kai_sim ~~L°ЯÐs Ǿf Tнê teªm§~~

Manalo man tayo halos walang + sa rating pero kapag natalo o draw, grabe ang bawas sa atin. Eh parehas lang naman ang matching ke high rated o low rated team. So...I know now. Hmm...very interesting. So to add our team statistic after a 1 month of existence.... Our team is in the Top 10 list (#5) of GK when it comes to Team Standing.

Regarding two or more players with the same ISP playing in the same team, yes... I remember that was once an issue here at GK. But I don't know what was the verdict. It is said that green is supposed to be the color chosen by intelligent people. Well, seems you have chosen wisely Mike ;-) As to tokirapa's query on why we didn't show up when Angelina told us about the chess plaza and tourney, I think most of us here in SMK is a little bit busy at that time. Maybe Capt. Mike can do something about it, like appointing a date so that we can meet all members of the SMK personally. Its just a suggestion though, but I think it can come into fruitition in the near future. As to the other suggestions of tokirapa, I think Capt. Mike can properly address those ideas.

Message: alright. pleasing to the eyes. the visitor can easily be attracted to explore its contents. initial suggestion is the armoured knight riding a horse... can we replace it with ARKANGHEL subduing the demon... the same as that we can see on SMC products.(is it in ginebra bottle?). i don't know if it is protected by a trademark. perhaps our future legal counsel torre_tinorete could verify this. capt. mike, the reason why i registered in GK is to make this site a training ground to explore untested ideas which i haven't tried in tournament practice. for the information of everybody, i'm an active tournament player locally. please understand me in not divulging my true identity here because of simple reason that local players would freely see and study my preparations. other GK players have the same reason as mine. mabuhay ka capt mike and regards to everybody...... hijodelmatador (carlo)

Message: of tokirapa , it is accepted warmly and wholeheartedly. however the way i see it, there is no slightest intrigue in the team. what we are speaking here is the truth of matter. as in other GK teams, the captain has the right to choose and screen prospective team members. it isn't at all easy to do the captain's responsibilities. it is universal issue here in GK those ISPs containing several accounts. if you could see my profile, we are 6 in one ISP. i know only matadordelrey, but i don't the other 4 accounts. that's my fault 'coz i normally make moves at i-net cafes at malls. in internet world in its totality, it is very dangerous to reveal your true identity. you know what i mean. anyway, capt. mike will verify with the webmaster whether it is allowable to accept 2 or more members belonging to the same ISP. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. that's why before i commented on that, i said "with due apology to angelina_joelle ". If it will be cleared, you will be most welcome tokirapa. I understand you, a chessplayer's attitude IS ALWAYS LIKE THAT. i'm too exposed to that. let's drink to that !!

Getting the "archangel subduing demon" image is quite difficult but will be very interesting and eye-catcher if we could put it in our homepage. I'll try to look for it. Page counter for our homepage is on its way. Revealing true identity.... This is quite a dillema. In as much we realy would like to make our team as real as possible by putting our respective photos or at least revealing some of our true information in our homepage, it still holds true that it is "quite" dangerous. We'll study more of this later. I'm receiving quite a lot of challenge proposal in my message box so for your 'max', I'll take note of that.

torre_tinorete 11/09/2003 18:31:41 [ report this post ]	St. Michael's image... Message: The "San Miguel subduing the demon" image is a trademark of Ginebra San Miguel Corporation. I have not taken up Intellectual Property Law (hopefully I will take it up this coming sem) so I don't have a definite idea of the consequences of using it in our webpage. However, from what I have gathered, an unauthorized use of a trademark constitutes infringement, even though if there is no fraudulent intent. Hence, I don't think that we can use the Ginebra San Miguel trademark in our website. We can, however, make use of another image of St. Michael for as long as its not squarely the same as that of Ginebra San Miguel. Hey Capt. Mike, congrats nga pala sa 2nd team win mo! Nice endgame win! You have again streached our win streak! Keep up the good work team!

He resigned our game prior to his application to join our team which gives us again another win! And as for Kokoy.... Yes he lost. But he didn't tell you guys, that he won also. So in this day alone, we got 2 wins against 1 lose! Hurray again to our team!!! And cheers to that!
