I DONT KNOW IF ANYONE IS PAYING ATTENTION BUT WE HAVE HAD A LITTLE SLIDE AS OF LATE (ALTHOUGH I THINK TODAY WE DID GOOD) IM TRYING REALLY HARD TO GET SOME OF THE PLAYERS IN THE NEGATIVE SOME GOOD MATCHES. I understood your post as you explained it. how's opponents were agram, serkan00 and krejci. At move 44 agram forked how's king and rook, leaving a queen and bishop vs bishop endgame in agram's favor. The game with serkan00 was at move 9. The game with krejci could be drawn. Use the information as you wish. I know what I'm going to do.

good to hear from you. yes we have taken some knocks and many of them thanks to me. i have played several leauge games lately and my rateing shows it! but... this wont be such a bad thing for team play. i hope to reclaim some of my points soon. i have felt over whelmed lately. as far as h.o.w. is concerned i supposse his opponents have the right to do as they wish but i for one would not have taken points from a dead man.

we have had a series of timeouts lately so its time for us to rededicate to winning again. i dont think it has hurt us too bad but we all know it never helps. also i have decided to allow petrossian to rejoin the team. he has come back and explained to me his reasons for timing out so i figure everyone deserves a second chance. lets start to move forward again. :)

thats not considered an intrusion at all. thanks for your kind words. h.o.w. was a good member of this team. on a different note..... we had four victories by timeout today.... this type of timeout i can accept ;) we had some other victories and losses too but i just felt good about being on the winning side of the timeouts for once :) go bounty hunters!!!!!!!!!!

Reporting from my side of the world, I'd just like to say it was an especially hot day
today. Also, I have been going mad looking for a "checkbook" style portable chess
set for analysis on the internet. I found several and I really like the ones put out by
ChessMate, but they're too expensive for me. Oh, I'll probably end up ordering one
of the cheaper ones I found. I just wish I could find such sets in the stores here.
Well, I am rambling on about nothing...just didn't want to, you know, say I'm saving
this thread and that's all.

I am very sorry. I timed out in 30 games and I think some team games might be in there but most of them were league games - I missed the deadline by half an hour.
My rating has dropped from 14xx to 11xx.
So captain, to make it up, please give me team games that can take advantage of my drop in ratings.

He is banned probably because on his computer he has my account, his and a friend of his who dropped in once (just once) to check whether his account was working.

I noticed your drop in rating ealier today. Only one of your timeouts was a team game, so your drop in rating will more than make up for it :)
How do you manage to keep up with 100 games in parallel?? If I get over 30 I start to get problems.

Anyone knows how gameknot tracks how many players log on from a particular computer. If Mike doesnt want to help, maybe we can do something to clear the list of multiple userid's on a particular machine.

about how Mike is tracking players from the same machine would be cookies. If two players are already registered as playing from the same computer, I think it's too late to do anything about it (I believe Mike stores the information in a database). But if several users are accessing GK fro the same computer it would be wise to delete all cookies before and after letting your friend(s) use your computer to log on to GK.

im sorry to say tambori has timed out all games and hasnt been online in some time. i feel i have no choice but to drop him from the team. i hope he is ok and if he does return to gk he will be more than welcome to return. we have had a slight slide in team score as of late but i dont think it will last. also about the team rankings. i dont know if any of you know it but teams are ranked by elo system now,,,,,but i still like to look at team score because i feel this is a more direct reflection of our results. i never really cared about first place on gk as much as i care about our own personal improvement as a team. elo doesnt really give me a true sense of accomplishment. if anyone has any thoughts about the team ranking system i would like to hear them. go bounty hunters!!!!!!!!
