Sorry team/ex-team but I have just lost to mlka of Russian Time. I went into an ending a pawn up but his compensation just kept rolling on and I was ground under. I still have 3 games going and I can't see me losing any of these. Then again, I thought the same about the game I just resigned!

Dear all

Message:
Thanks all for your words of support but I will have to resign of at least become an inactive member for a while. I live as an expat in Moscow and �things� are rarely the same here as in the west. My internet connection can (and has recently) be very unpredictable forcing me to look for other connections to play moves. This is fine if it is once or twice but it is becoming much more frequent and frankly a major pain.

I have really enjoyed playing for the team and if I ever get things sorted I will be honoured to play for you all again, but for the moment it�s impractical.

if you want to suggest a move every now and again then message diogenes or me, omus,..just stick to the same team. not a lot of commitment required. omus has sightly more advisors than diogenes for the moment.

re. my team games...winning some...losng some....on about 13 points a the moment but expect 20 by xmas. keeping my head above water.

Hi team. Just had a draw against 2guns of the Red, White and Blue team. I kinf of liked my position with a big White Pawn on f6 burying his Bishop but his Knights seemed very active and I did not know what to do.

I still have one match against him (Pawn up) and mlka (Pawn up in ending).

I have just drawn my second game against 2guns of The Red, White And Blue team. I was a Pawn up but blundered it back. Maybe I should have played on for a couple of moves as I now see that he might have trouble defending his King but I didn't think of this at the time. I now just have one more team game, against mlka of Russian Time.

sorry i haven't posted in a long time.....work gets in the way of all my chess time...i have checked out the other site but it takes even more time to navigate it...it was useful for the consultation game, but as a team site, we just aren't controversial enough...i think our captain has done a wonderful job, and hate to see it change...but change happens, and this site overall diminishes...they seem to make it harder to enjoy the basics that made this site unique...i wish everyone the best as always...
