Please don't give up to soon. many games were lost by......i cannot tell but i do know that if you are not able enough to make a tough match, ask the team captain for a rest or ask for easy looking opponents. These lost games cost us, as team, a lot of team points. Think of it please.

Four new wins from me for our team and 2 draws. Two new wins are coming up and that makes our team stronger. With decent play we ALL can win games from unexpected strong(er)? players. Just a matter of patient and- my advise- learn one or two good openings and work on from that. Any questions about opening moves just ask me by personal messages and i am pleased to help.

Why are so many of our players (and also ex-team mates) withdrawing from gameknot or loosing games for time-out? I know, some have explained that they have problems, but others seem to have disappeared suddenly. Hope there is no serious problem...
I also have to apologize to the team, because I've had little time to play the last months and have not been doing very good. I'll play again when I have more time to concentrate on the games.

i have to apologize to the team too, because in this period, maybe because is summer, i'm not looking too much for team games, i challenge everyday, but sometimes somone of the team is busy, someone becuase is summer, and so on, so it's much more difficult, but after the holidays the team will play hardly again eheheh :))

Pebbles has healt eyes problems unfortunately, since most time, in fact, she postponed her games many times because she couldnt stay at the pc, and now she decided to resign her games for this reason.....

But enjoying it very much. Would love to have more communications between our members. Just wanted to say a little something about 'giving up' early. I had two games that I was sure were lost causes. But in both games the person started giving me pieces. Both games I will probably win now having significant piece advantage..
Constant pressure, making the best moves you can find will sometimes cause an opponent to fold. Or sometimes they get impatient and see something in the position that is not there.
I would love to play some of my team members. Please challenge me or let me know if you want to play.

Silence all over. Since when are our team mates shy? I was to Norway for 4 weeks, traveling around with a friend and had a wonderfull time. After that a long weekend in London. Now busy with new students as mentor of a group of 50(with a guy).

I hope you do not mind me intruding on your team discussion but I am (sorry...I hope you will alow me this one time) and I have a question. I have heard many people complaining about someone using a program to play (by the way, I do not...in fact, my rating attests to that! LOL)...but for the life of me I cannot figure out how anyone can positively say that a person is doing this. So how can you tell or what makes you think that a person is using some softwre or program without actually seeing them do it?

I am an ICC and WCN member and both organisations are able to check out if someone is using somekind of chess software or chess machines. I have no clue what but the past history learns us that they for 99% right in their analizing. bTW: i don't care a loss if any of you think that i am a sore loser, not at all. After a fine match i congratulations always and don't have any regret at all, otherwise i better can stop with playing chess :>) I am a fanatic otb player and fide titled so i think i can speak open about this because many high rated players here would be crushed if they were sitting in front of me. That is all but i have no hard feelings at all, none.

You state that the ICC confirm your suspicions, one of your games against this opponent only concluded yesterday another is still on-going...thats pretty fast work from an international organisation. As you are so certain can you give us the positions in the game that aroused your suspicions ? your statement " many high rated players here would be crushed if they were sitting before me " really says more about your general attitude to the game than a thousand words from me.

More importantly, unsubstantiated accusations of cheating are the concern of everyone on GK and I am surprised that you treat the matter so flippantly. sure, this matter are the concern of many people on this site, but that doesnt change anything about the fact, that these players are quite poor. they think to be strong, but in fact, they are the assistant of their chess software. Why doesnt treat that subject humourious?! and arent you treating that flippantly as well by reporting Zormasters post as well?! Finally I can tell you, that Zormaster is one of the most reliable players, I have known on this site, a person of high integrety and fairness! I think you should be more careful, saying something about her!

I have no doubt that zormaster is a person of integrity, that makes it all the more disappointing that she would accuse a fellow player on GK of cheating.
