Do we have a teamcaptain right now?? Or shall we look for somebody else to take over? If it has to do with that membership things, and that he can�t be a teamcaptain because he is not a paying member, we must look for somebody who is, and are willing to take over. What about you, Kai? You did it great while you had the job.

kai_sim 7/22/2004 14:44:53 [ report this post ]	Message: no, i wouldn't replace him neither. but who now was just writing? was it thomas or katrin or the third character? well, doesn't matter to me... because when an entire team thinks about replacing the captain or leaving the team, it would scare the cr.. out of me and i would start thinking what i'm doing wrong. anyways, from the profile i can see: Last time seen on GK: 3 hours 33 minutes ago - no responses to our msg's - no responses in the forums - and the last team games started 9th of july (wasn't katrin retired for another two months? i hope you not gonna time out again katrin...thomas...aaahhh i don't know who...) i don't know whats going on here, but if that goes a little longer like this, without responses, it'll pull the team appart. ... and chees thx for the complements, but i wouldn't have the time right now, so it would have to be some one else. i was thinking about (same order) clems, chees, chic_luc or v_glorioso12 IF HE REALY DOESN'T WANT TO do it anymore, but who can tell if he doesn't respond or post? also, if i would do captain again, i would do it for a new team i started, with selected players (not with a backstabber like katrin for example who i realy thought is my friend...), and that team would be number one within less than a year. but again, i love you guys and will not have time due to the upcoming baby... maybe next year then...

I said, that if he CAN�T be a captain because he isn�t a paying member (and if that problem can�t be fixed), we must look for another to take over. We do of course need a active captain who can take care of the team and the teammatches. I don�t think anyone can disagree an that. And Kai: Thanks for thinking about me as a potential new captain (along with others), but I think I will have to say no. I neither have the time for (oh, yes...I know it�s a time consuming job) nor the knowledge (about how it works) to have this job. But again: I�m only interested in having a teamcaptain that can take good care of the team and the teammatches, so we all can benefit from it. And I have great respect for those who can do the job, and are willing to take the time and efforts that it requires. All the best to all of you Chees

A inactive teamcaptain timing out teamgames and does�nt answar private messages (don�t respond to Kai�s messages); don�t post anything here; and no new teammatches started for quite a while; yet he is still online (last time yesterday). Strange. Does he still want to be captain of the team? Only himself can ansvar this. So LORDOFTHERINGS: SAY SOMETHING; DO SOMETHING!!! 2. Chic_luc leaving the team, apparently on account of the problems with katrin (but does it express dissatifaction with others things?). Hopefully others will not follow. I'm new on the team but would really want to express my concern on how we communicate with each other. Let's focus on one problem at a time, starting with the team-captain. kai_sim 7/24/2004 10:35:07 [ report this post ]	i disagree with that Message: i don't like that idea. if tolgay would decide to quit i would be willing to 'train' the new captain, but not under these circumstances. there is no proof that he's going online himself it can be anyone else from his family or maybe a girlfriend. maybe he's in hospital or so, u never know... if it shoews me online, i dont' have to be actually there. i have GK set up as my starter page in my browser and my girlfriend uses this computer as well, maybe he got the same set up. additionaly it wouldn't work that way either. he will have to write mike an email to give the captaincy away and the other player will have to email mike that he wants it (i know that, because i had to email mike to give him back the captaincy, otherwise mike would have never done it). i think there is an alternative if the captain wasn't online for a looooong looooooooong time, but i hope that that will not happen. i don't think that he does this on purpose neither, because he loves the team and he founded it. there is a good reason for this. i'm still worried about tolgay. lets just hope that he'll be allright again. kai

I hope I offended no-one. My suggestion tried to find a stand-in captain making it possible to function as a team while tolgay get's out of trouble. Kai_sim : Isn't there a backup-captain ? Like when a captain goes on vacation for 3/4 weeks, or is this situation solved by mailing Mike (a GM-admin I suppose?).

Older members would remember that my attitude here is to play for team and all I want is simple: to have a captain who can functioning all the time for team's prosperity. When kai_sim was "stuck up north" and team wasn't functionig well a month or two, I posted my disagreement and even suggested a new captain election. Now, situation is worse...Our captain doesn't respond, loses on time-outs (his policy is: NO TIME-OUTS) and good team members leaves...But, at the other hand, he is founder of our team, it's true... I have too many games right now, and can't participate in new matches next month or two, so I can wait and see what will happens...I should be sorry if I had to leave this team after so many games, but that's life...What have to be done, will be done... As you say, experimentator: What have to be done, will be done. And I�m afraid others will think the same way, and start leaving the team, if we not pretty soon solve this captain problem. And furthermore: How long can we live without a functional teamcaptain, that can take care of all the things that is needed around the team. So my suggestion now is: 1. We settle a date (not very long from today) for how long we will wait to hear from Lordoftherings. 2. IF we don�t hear from him within this timelimit we elect a new teamcaptain, and message Mike about the problem we have, and ask him to have this new captain. 3. IF we then later on hear from Lordoftherings again, we can always discuss whether he shall return again as captain. If some of you have other suggestions, dont hesitate with bringing them forward. The most importent right now is to have this problem solved. All the best to all of you Chees

This team has gone downhill very fast, due to a incompetent captain, who deserts the team, he startet himself!! I won�t hesitate to say that I hope more of you will follow and join the new team. Kai was the one that, as a captain, brought the Lott forwards to be number one (of course together with all players), and he is surely a very good captain, who has great concern for his team and teammembers. lordoftherings 7/26/2004 03:34:56 [ report this post ]	HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Message: i am here now....i am really unhappy about all of these things !! i had a problem in my healty ...i dont know how to say in english but i cant walk from 2-3 weeks and i have not computer in our summer house i should go to an internet cafe right now i did...my father is workin out of our city to solve my problems i call one of my friend i tried to explain him to postpone my games and i think he postponed 1 week and after than i learned that i lost my team games (except 2 games) and now when i saw all my message (~200 messages) i want really CRY...it the first time that i am doing a mistake from 2 years and it was not a mistake i think...now i see some players left i think they are right too but i did not want to have a foot like that...sorry for my english...i dont know what to do....

lordoftherings 7/26/2004 11:17:39 [ report this post ]	i said my friend to play Message: ...but when he saw 5 days left he did not play 4 days and than i said him on the telephone that oppenent has an option of cancelling postponement when he moves and when he looked my games he said me that i lost 4 of my games (team games) he doesn't know exactly the system(time controle postponement and team play...) and also he didnot say me somethin about my messages...i think he can also send a teamm message to mates but i really didnot think that my friends can go to recreate a new team after 17-18 days ...and i had postponement for 7 days...so for 10 days.
