Subject: Non-premium-member captains
Message: Just received this note:
Since only premium subscribers can start new teams, only premium subscribers can be team captains. Please upgrade your membership to a premium subscription by Friday, July 30, 2004. Thank you!
Best regards,
GameKnot.com
What if I don't updgrade? I have two premium team members. What if they don't want to be captains?
For those GK members who are not captains, you may not know this: BEING A CAPTAIN DEMANDS TIME.
Although I enjoy serving my team, I would not be happy if GK will require me to become a paid member only for me to enjoy the label of being a captain. There is always time for everything. I will surely give my share to GK someday. But not on or before July 30, 2004.

Message: will be reinforced, I will be happy (happier, in fact) to become a plain member of my team. I just hope one of my two premium members will accept the job of the captain......if not, it is the end of SMK.

Message: What makes this so hard for some to swallow now is that Mike did not enforce the team captain eligibility requirements a long time ago when they went in to effect. Had he done so then, there wouldn't be all this whining now.
