Looks like we're a real team now. If any of you have friends who play (or would like to) encourage them to come join us.
Regarding super powers: I always wanted to watch the John Cleese video, "101 Ways to Be Annoying" or something like that. My mom wouldn't let me get it, so I had to come up with my own list. It's pretty complete and well-tested.

Dale, appreciate the work you are doing to attract higher ranked players. Another solution might be to get higher ranked ourselves. And the off-site forum will be a good way to support each other in that effort.

I am an Englishman living in Texas. I am dead keen on English Football despite living over here many years. I played on the School Chess Team in Pontefract, England from 1959 to 1961. The player on this board 'Dawlish' played on the same team 10 years later. That's why I would love to give him a game but he turned me down. Said that he was too busy. We also follow the same Football Team in England, namely, Leeds United, even though Dawlish is a town in Devon which is a long way from Yorkshire in English terms. Nothing at all in Texas terms.

The US states that I have NOT been to are :

I first learnt to play chess in 1959 when I played for the King's School team in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England. The were 6 of us on the team and we played local high schools. 'Dawlish' on this gameknot board was also a member of this same school team but about 10 years later so I don't know him.
