.....I would have been here sooner, but I read all the past forums that Abegtrup sent me, I was about to ask where the current one was, when I re-read the original message and found it half way down.
Before you all start asking, I'm an englishman living in Wales, and can confirm that I have never supported or encouraged anything Welsh (except my wife and 13 month old daughter, Ella).
Until I saw The Pawnstars website, I did not realise anything was missing from my life, but once seen I knew I had to fulfill my destiny and join the ranks of the Pawnstars, whatever the cost maybe. So I'm here, and am ready for long matches late into the night, to never time-out and to carry on regardless, until our aims of world domination are complete. And also slate Rupert at every given opportunity.

...is everyone else talking on a different forum and not told me. I wanna chat with my team everyday, I want to hear tales of derringdo, dragon slaying or quests for shrubbery etc etc.
What happens in these team games, does someone post the scores, and let us know who won, or who got there bottom spanked by a 1200er. I'd like to say, that I'm getting a fair amount of bottom spanking from some of my oppos.
"ELLA NEWSFLASH" - My 14 month old daughter learnt here 4th word today, after "mum", "dad" and "ta", we now have "car", way to go girl.
Well that's my news, I'll pop back tomorrow morning.

Why is it that the #1 team is #1 just because they have the highest ELO. If thats all it takes, then a few 2200+ ban together and they automaticly are #1. Wouldn't it make more sence to have the team with their team ELO # thats the closest to their average ELO be #1. All of a sudden our team ELO rose to 1316. Whats up! We are close to our average, just as close as the top five are.

In case anyone cares, I've been harboring fugitives (from the hurricanes in the Carribean) for
the past few weeks, and although I've got a fresh batch on the way, I'd figure it was time to
get back to the better things in life - like responding to gru88y's ill formed thoughts, or
making sure my rating stays above apastpawn's. Oh and keeping it real with my homey
leo - who seems to follow me around everywhere from thread to thread.
Oh and jasogold... I'll be back tomorrow too! This is the "cool" thread after all - mostly
because it's unofficial, which makes it rebellious, and well, um, "cool!"

jasogold, you will find the real team happenings over on gameknot.com/fmsg/chess5/1767.shtml.That is the Xena -Sanctioned Thread. This one is the 'Orange-Shirted Heretics" ( another gru88yism there:-) thread.
Also apastpawn, a bunch of 2200 players getting together does not make #1 team. The team ELO rating is entirely separate to it's individual player ratings. If such a team was formed they would still start off with a provisional ELO of 1200.

Okay, time for the third installment of the Pawn Stars Micro Tournaments:
"Pawntification: Chess by Committee" board #2180346
Unlike the previous two, apastpawn and I are actually going to listen to the advice and
strategies of the forum posters. Well, that's the idea anyway. We figure we'll take any
suggestions, and either make them our own, or tear them apart and expose their weaknesses.
Moves are scheduled for once a week, so there will be plenty of time to propose, counter
propose and settle on strategies between "teams". We're considering two separate forums;
one for black, and one for white. We welcome all Pawn Stars and Pawn Star fans to join in!
We expect to have the humor and the silliness, but remember, it's not just a game, it's a game
to the death! (or something like that...)
