 Subject: OH YEAH NAVY LOSERS, IT'S "GO" TIME!!!

After YEARS of zero requests, I, jeffreydot, have decided that the people apparently don't have an opinion on the matter and have started the very first NAVY LOSERS forum...so... lets get things CRACKING!!!
We, as a team, have accomplished very little as a team, which makes Jeffrey very proud. I am SO lazy that I will even go the inconveniant rout, just so I don't have to do anything. It is good to see all you other navy losers out there feel the same way.
RIVALRIES. We currantly are upholding an evil rivalry w/ the pawn stars, and their insolent leader xena warrior prince. I have noticed that we have been OVERFLOWING their forums, causing hate and discontent, not to mention the over all power struggles ensueing due to xena's viewing the rest of her team as insolent swine. She could learn a few things of equality and leadership abilities from the good admiral....I will also impose charges for my services, as I was charged for the spell checker.
NEW LOSERS
We have new requests to join the navy losers FLOWING in every day, mostly by disgruntled pawn stars etc, but only four of us have what it takes to be a navy loser. however, if YOU would like to be a NAVY LOSER, I am looking for more people, particularly from people whose rating is so high that I couldn't even FATHOM what just happened when they crushed me on the board....if that is you....or even if it isn't feel free to apply...
SPECIAL THANKS to leixoessc for your winning record, and AWESOME navy loser propaganda posted in the pawn star forums.

On our team we encourage individualism and treat everyone with the same amount of respect.....not like other teams (i.e.......the pawnstars and there tyrannical leader, Xena, warrior princess who feels that she is the only person on her team destined for the leadership position!!!) We also encourage slandering other teams, especially our archrivals.......the Pawnstars, not quite cool enough to be pornstars, not even the "silly" kinda pornstars!!!! I must correct you itk2k. I do not FEEL that I am the only one destined for leadership in my team. I KNOW this for a fact. This is what being the Team Captain involves. I guess you haven't heard of the saying, "Too many chiefs and not enough Native-Americans". Well that won't be us. You all seem to think I am the Female -Saddam- Hussein -Of -GameKnot. Whether I am or not is debatable, but whatever it is I'm doing, it seems to be working. We have 33 in our team. If nobody liked it they could leave, but they don't. I am turning away nearly as many membership applications as I approve. You should try the dictatorship approach sometime...it works wonders on the huddled masses.
Btw, we do not resort to slander . We merely point out the short-comings of others who are less fortunate than ourselves.

it was an "unrated game" in which she defeated me. I felt this was the only way to build up her confidence. I felt that if I made you feel as though you were at my level of intelag-ants you would find chess to be interesting, hence wanting to join gk as a paid member...and it worked....I RULE!!!! I should get a commision for getting the first gk parrot to pay [w/o crackers] on this site.

...she who must be craving this hunky sailor.... for pointing out our NEW TEAM RANK OF 150!!!! You know what this means??? We are NO LONGER THIRD FROM LAST PLACE!!! Good job to ALL of you losers out there. As stated in my mission statement I care not of our team rank, we are here for fun, as it appears we are having...at an indignant teams expense...
HOWEVER....It is apparent that we are all REALLY BAD at chess [keep in mind this has absolutely nothing to do with our team rating, as we all play other people who are REALLY BAD at chess...we are just too bull headed and except MOST challenges....I have had some rediculous offers...]
ALSO...Another part of our mission statement is to learn....I know I can hear all the whining and sighing already, but I feel it is my duty, as a GOOD CAPTAIN, to at least introduce you all to some chess principles and openings etc.
OBVIOUSLY....there are a rediculous amount of chess openings and chess principles, and it would get rather like a book, and boring [especially since Im writing it] if I wrote everything out right now....which is why I am introducing the patented NAVY LOSERS OPENINGS AND PRINCIPLES OF THE WEEK!!!!
I know this sounds rather childish...however...I feel I can put them out, and you can take it our leave it....it's up to YOU!!! If you would like to improve you chess game, these just might help. Keep in mind, I'm not exactly a CHESS MASTER myself, however I AM the highest rated player on the team, and I am REALLY smart [I read about physics on my free time for dogs sake] and I have books and the internet at my fingertips.
...so WITH further addo...[I have to leave right now, and will research and put out our first stuffs later this weekend] ...I will not proceed!!!

HEY...jeffreysparrot ...STOP TALKING FOR ONE MINUTE!!! ...itk2k ...leave the parrot alone! ...leixoessc , could you leave the pawnstars alone for a sec...this is gonna be REALLY good. xabilly ,we might need for you to say a prayer for good measure.
I know you all have been holding your breath all weekend, in anticipation for this post, so, wait no more!!! I am here to show you a thing or two :)
Like I said I am no grand master, however I DO know a thing or two, you can take these tips or leave them, so first I will start with our chess principle of the week!!
KNIGHT PLACEMENT!!!! It is wise to get the most use out of a particular piece as possible. Therefore pushing a knight out to the side cuts their range by half...and EVEN WORSE, a knight in the corner has only TWO (2) places in which it can move...FOUR (4) for a piece pinned to the side...and as many as EIGHT (8) when it is smack dab in the middle of the board. Obviously, your pawns etc and spaces controlled by your evil enemy decrese the amount of spaces they can actually move. "The Tao of Chess" [by chess master Peter Kurzdorfer] states "...pieces that have few squares in their sight are not very useful. This applies not only to knights on the edge of the board, but also to bishops encumbered by their own pawns and rooks stuck in the corner without any open or even half-open files available."
CHESS OPENING OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Sicilian Kan. This is a defensive style game, so this may be a change up for a few of you. There are many different types of sicilian play. Many prefer the Najdorf or the Dragon, because they think they can become a grandmaster by playing the same way as Bobby Fischer or Gerry Kasperov, however these are pretty complex lines, and can get you into a lot of trouble if you do not know what you're are doing. This is where the Kan comes into play. It is pretty simple if you understand a few of it's main principles, and it can teach you a LOT about focusing your attack etc. [ie blacks d pawn takes whites e pawn, whites d pawn takes back blacks e pawn, which is taken by blacks knight, which is taken by whites queen, which is taken by blacks queen] if I didn't mumble too much, you can tell this is a good attack for black, because they win a queen and two pawns to its loss of a knight and a pawn. ...ok so w/o further adu, the sicilian kan goes as followed...
1) e4, c5
[white opens with the typical, yet strong e4. Throwing his balls out he says "I own the center!!! What are YOU going to do about it???" Black then throws the curveball by pushing his "c" pawn out to c5. Pretty much claiming his share of the center indirectly.]
2) nf3, e6 [whites pushing his knight out to f3 does two (2) things, prevents black from pushing his black pawn to e5, and protects his "d" pawn should he choose to push it to d4, blacks pushing e6 opens up his kings bishop, and allows for natural developement. Also this comes into play defensively later in the game.]
3)d4, cxd4 [white is pretty much challenging blacks "c5" pawn, and black accepts this challenge]
4)nxd4, a6 [white obviously takes back the "d4" pawn, and advances his piece which is protected by his queen, and black prevents any further movement of that knight by pushing his "a" pawn to a6.
A few things that you should know in playing this [as black]. It is ESSENTIAL that white does not push his pawn to e5. This traps your "g" knight in, which becomes very useful in this defense as the game goes on. How should you do this??? pushing Nc6, and or pushing Qc7...depending upon how much white is focusing it's attack there. The a6, and e6 pawns are essential in you defense, they should not be developed much until later in the game, however, developing off of them can be helpful, such as pushing your "b" pawn to b5. Don't start attacking until you are ready, wait for white to make a mistake, or wait until you have the advantage on a focused attack. Also develope your "g" knight, probably to f3 once e5 is protected, set up a fienchetto, and castle kingside [use your own discression for this, because some games you may not want to fienchetto, or castle kingside] I will include links later of games in which I have used this defense.

Here is something you might want to watch out for in a 1)e4, c5 opening as black board #2111113 and board #2077929 . Thank you inukshuk for that wonderful "learning" experience in which I returned to you :P .
and here are a few examples of my playing this opening...some good some bad...you might be able to see where I went wrong in my losses. board #2067833 [I lost the e5 battle and the game] board #2067726 and board #2064099 are pretty similar to the lines I put out [not everyone knows, or wants to play the first four lines properly...some are insolent and go off on some other tangent] and an actual example of this that is going on board #2191883 please don't comment on this game as it is still going on. you can also use the database for help, as I noticed that my games probably wont be as helpful as I hoped.
