Hello fellow bounty hunters! Astinkyfart has graciously allowed me to join your esteemed ranks. My username is "chupacabra." Literally translated it means goat sucker, and is the Latin equivalent to our boogie man or vampire but more rotesque. Some Mexican friends I worked and played soccer with started calling me that and it stuck. Currently, I live in Spokand, Wa but I actually grew up in Bolivia, South America with my good buddy Loren or "chimane", as you know him. Incidently, I think I taught him how to play chess...just kidding! I learned to play when I was in 4th grade, and took 3rd in a School tourny in 8th grade. I just started getting serious about it in the last couple of years, though. Feel free to pass along any wisdom you may have. I would also love to know what openings or responses you like. Anyway, I am pleased to me a member and look forward to getting to know you all better.

for short (if thats ok) i prefer the ruy lopez but im light years from playing it correctly. if you want some real sound advice you should speak with grandphish julianlore and a few others. i plan on reading more in depth on the ruy lopez and trying to understand the long term concepts and goals of it. by the way if anyone has any tips i will take them :)

I wonder what xena will have to say if I win both my games when the time comes. I want my team mates to know that I did not turn Xena down, it's just that when it came to deciding which team I was going to apply to join, there was simply no contest between GBH and any other team on this site. What I don't understand is, how can this lady publicly admit that any man could turn her down? :) You may be aware that Xena left New Zealand to go and live in Australia, and when that happens it raises the average I.Q. level of both countries. :)) Can't wait til big contest starts.

yes we have slipped. i think this is partly due to the holidays and i should have slacked up on the games a bit. dont forget our planned matches this month. as of right now we have 14 UNAVAILABLE members. i know some are off for holidays and i expect them to be back soon. i hope for the ones that have their game limits low will raise them for the team match. also... i am talking to the english defence and the pawnstars. if the pawnstars are ready before the english defence then we will take them on first. i hope we can make a comeback soon. i am getting really tired of looking at the forties. lets just keep fighting. go bounty hunters!
