Welcome ALL to the OFFICIAL TEAM FEDERATION thread. soarehelle has asked us to start this, the newest thread for her great idea. It is with her BLESSING and APPROVAL that we sally forth in warp drive. Don't worry though, we won't be originating every thread. The idea is that team captains (who want to) can take it in turns to kick off the new threads. Keep it to the 'Star Trek' theme though. This forum is for TEAM CAPTAINS, CO-CAPTAINS, COACHES and the like. We are, however, NOT an elitist la-di-da Country Club Forum..no passwords needed here and no one is excluded. If you have something to say regarding your team, or about 'Star Trek', and even if you aren't one of the above-mentioned, please say it here. We're all ears...just like Spock.

Hey CC,
I am sad that you can't get to the other forum that you and I discussed and made happen over the phone, i so wanted to make you happy and give you a place to chat with captains because you seemed so upset when we talked about it. I wanted the froum on my website to be your baby also , damn webtv sucks man! I should have a talk with Mom and ask her to buy you a pc ;) So the only alternative now is that i will go back n forth between forums of course just to hang with you and when i see a captains topic i will jump on in despite the critiques i have so cleverly started up lol (you know me i have to get them goin but mostly for my own amusement hehe)
Oh and i will be around in a year, thanks for caring !

And absolutely, I "blessed" this thread; actually, I'm so thankful it made it past the first one. Really though, once this takes off no one gonna think of me or anyone else because it will be so much more impotant that any one captin here.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THE ROOKETTES ARE THE ANDORIANS! (Again, I just love that you can have blue and white Andorians!)
<;br><!---|abreak|--->Yes, Xena hit it right on the mark with every new thread should be started by a different captain, I suggest when we all see the thread reply hitting 45 or so just speaking up and saying, "Hey I wanna start it next." The goal is everyone starting a thread.
Now about captains stuff: what do you all think of these two ideas, a campaign to add to each team page, who's open, how many days per move they want? We're not going to get it at first, but we can try at least, until we're told "no, not possible." (By the way, on the topic of asking for stuff from Mike, I STILL hold out hope out to talking Mike into something here at GameKnot for captains,)
And before I forget, from the other thread, I really liked the idea of teams being different Star Trek shows, like Deep Space 9 and all that. We need Bajorians, Carrdaseans, (both misspelled I know) and what was Otto again? Also Voyager had some interesting groups.
greyrabbit, do you know I'm still laughing over the tribble joke! I almost said that we would take and be the tribbles, then I came to my senses!
One last thing, I was hoping some of you might think about asking other captains if they want to join this little Federation of ours. Aside from me being shy (Samantha STOP laughing at me, it's true, HEY!) there's only so many people I can ask. Think on it and let's talk.

I would love to be able to look at my team and see who is open and how many games I can allocate them instead of preparing a fake challenge that never goes through just so I can see who is available. it would also be nice if I could look at the other team and see who they have available so I can see at a glance (well two glances actually) whether my challenge would be accepted.
I really like the comment facility when issuing a team challenge. wouldn't it be great if the receiving captain could reply... even if it was only in the case of a decline?

I've asked gameknot to rule on whether "cloaking" of peices infringes GK rules.
I hacked into the games engine and can now cloak any piece i choose...... i find cloaking a pawn the best of all.... sneak it up and get it queened before un-cloaking, reckon i could even beat Apastpawn with this (and that's about the only way I could btw)

i made the mistake of letting my Nieces take over my computer, now its a teen fight here, i apologize to everyone that they were making fun of. I am the captain of "the arsam empire" i let my girls make the chess moves, and i run the team. An di see now reading a bit that they were being teased as well, so there you have it.

Dear me ladyinred527, I thought it was tribbles causing trouble but it's actually been teens all the time. They sure seem to have a singular sense of humour for "teens" of that age. I would have picked them for a lot younger. Just as well they are making the moves for you ( if I'm not mistaken, that's what you've just said isn't it?) or you'd never have time to read any of the forums.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry if my Dad upset anyone. But he is a grown man, with his own mind. I am also sorry how personal this all has gotten. With Dads and Teens, cat eating tribbles and fights. Still, I'm not walking away. (By the by, it was Captain Katherine Janeway who commanded Voyager ~Samantha, woud you want to be her, she's a tough female captain) I'll keep this going no matter what.
