Because of losses due to especially rough summer storms, we have openings for: 1 supervising officer, preferably mad, for manning the crow's nest 1 sanitation executive (for cleaning the heads) 1 ship's mathematician, preferably illiterate 1 smartmouth, we can always use that 1 Captain's parrot (ability to squawk "pieces of eight" ad nauseum essential) All applicants must be able to: 1. Play chess (all ratings considered) 2. Make some sort of amusing contribution to the cameraderie of the team 3. Have a mind of their own 4. So I fear, on the strength of this, that I must withdraw my application, as I can not possibly follow your rules. If I attempt to do so, I may end up with a "stiff cardboard personality" (as opposed to a soggy cardboard personality) and that would never do.
