 Subject: Disappearing Players!!

As captain of the Blue Moon Rising team here at GK, I have recently encountered some unusual happenings!!
Two players from our team have ceased to be members of the team - this was not a decision by the players to leave, or by myself to remove them from the team.
Both players continue to be members and play chess at GK.
neither myself nor the players were informed of the removal from the team, and no explaination has so far been provided.
If I go to the profile pages of these players, I can no longer send them private messages, not sure why, but this obviously hinders my attempts to find out what is going on.
I have written to GK and am awaiting a response, but would be interested to hear if any other captains/players have experienceed similar, or if anyone is aware of any rule changes that my have caused this.

Yes the same thing has happended on my team. I am not aware if the player wished to leave or not as I cannot PM them.

Through some private messages with other team captains, it appears that this has happened quite a lot - probably largely to do with same players from same IP address and such issues.
It is unfortunate that so many players use their work computers to play at GK, at least some of the time, and hence use a networked system - ends up with a number of players with one IP address.
I can see what GK wants to do, i.e. prevent any sort of cheating or manipulations of the system, but this is simply going to drive enthusiatic chessplayers (including paying members) from the site. I for one would find this contrary to what GK is all about.

One of my players told me (on a separate forum) that he will be leaving my team since he cannot anymore play at all on this site. GK has informed him that because he is refusing to see the ads on the site, meaning he's probably using an Adblock or something, he is violating the site rules and he cannot continue here. I don't know if that has anything to do with these players in question, but I thought I'd tell you anyway.
