Wow guys, we really need to post more often. I didn't realise our last activity was so long ago until I checked for the forum and found it had disappeared. :(
Anyway, why bother with another forum if we obviously don't use it that often? Why, for me to brag of course. :)
Okay, so I might be helping Spensley prop up the bottom of the team table with -13 points but I AM now the official GKK chess champion of the world!

Okay, there was a certain amount of luck involved (all right then, a lot) but hey, I'm not complaining.
Anyway, what does this mean to you? Not a lot. You don't have to start bowing and scraping or anything. A simple 'Majesty' when addressing me will do instead. ;)

Its school holidays here at the moment and im not sure how much chess i will be able to play but i will try my best.

You've as many points as I have so if I was then it might explain why I tried chewing my own hand off. If I were you I'd watch out though. I'm after that position for my own. You're lucky you have a share in it. If I hadn't won so many games since the beginning of May it would be mine, all mine.
Besides, the way I see it, since I'm the official GKK champion of the world, there's no way I could really be bottom of the team table so they must have been conning me all this time and they've got all the names the wrong way round, which makes us top.
G'day, Cap. Good to see you're giving me the proper respect. Next time I shan't be so lucky, you're right. Instead I shall win it and defend my title thanks to pure skill alone.

Hopefully you should have all received the team message. If not then to sum up, I'm trying to set up the second GKK mini-tournament. If anybody is interested either say so here or pm me. I'm hoping a good number of you will sign up then we can hopefully get a couple of tournaments going and maybe have a smaller rating deviation in each.
On another note: Bah, Spensley, thanks to my latest defeat you are now top of the bottom group of three. However, I am planning on hunting you down and overhaul you again so watch out. It won't last long.

Just the five involved at the moment but I'm unable to issue an invite to our captain yet because his vacation flag is set, or to lastone at the moment because he is currently playing too many games. Once those two small problems are overcome the remaining two slots will be able to be filled.
