While 500 is a great long term goal, and I think we will one day get there, I think we should establish some shorter term goals and step our way up to 500. We have already briefly broken the 200 mark and will soon be there again. So our next goal is to break the 250 mark.

Message:
Congratulations Bounty Hunters on another successful month. January was our 5th consecutive month to finish with a positive score and our 4th consecutive month to net 20 games or more!
We have added 97 to our score since August 31, 2006 and we finished the month as the 35th place team when measured by team score. Thanks to everyone for your hard work.
We completed 268 games in January, winning 132, drawing 25 and losing 111 for a net of 21 games and a 53.9% winning percentage.
30 of 40 teammates finished the month with 0 or a positive score, led by our Bounty Hunters of the Month ronlumm and drtony with +6 each.
Also during January, we launched our 7th team tournament and first ever knock out event. Thanks to all for your participation in this exciting event.
Good luck to all Bounty Hunters for a successful February. As always, keep your team game maximum preference in line with your availability and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Please join me in welcoming our newest member, kenab1, to the team. Ken has been playing chess (with a break) for 13 years and has some tournament experience.
Ken's hobbies include drinking (sounds like our kind of guy), hiking, video games and reading. He works in a research lab doing oligonucleotide synthesis projects (??? Wow!!!) and plans to go to medical school next year.
I believe Ken will be a valuable addition to our team. Please make him feel at home.
GameKnot has announced a new team feature - "Team Ladder". You can find the ladder and ladder rules by selecting "TEAMS" from the menu on the left, then selecting "Team ladder".
My initial impression is that the ladder will be very volitile and only slightly more meaningful than the totally useless "Team ratings".
However, for those interested, please check it out and let me know what you think. I still think our current goal is the most appropriate - maximize team score.
