 Subject: The value of individual team ratings?

I have been wondering for a while... what is the value of the individual team rating? They are only displayed on people's personal profiles and not on their team page, and they are not used in the pairing of team matches (the normal GK ratings are used for that). If the team matches pairings were based on the individual team ratings, lower-rated players who perform well in team matches would get the chance to play with higer rated players... just an idea.
And... is there anyone with a team rating higher than 2000? There are no team ratings lists, are there?

Heinzkat, If you go to TEAMS>TEAM TABLE you will find the ranking of all teams by team rating.

It is used only for GK to ban people who have this rating better than overall rating. Such people are suspect of cheating. Especially if their team percentage are higher than overall percentage.
And GK can't understand that some people put a lot of efford in their team games, and they play regular games for fun. Sad but true...

To be honest, the word "only" shouldn't be in my previous message. Maybe someone use this rating for something. I don't know. But I know that GK use it to ban people. One of the members of my Team got ban because his team rating and percentage are better than overall rating and percentage. -> gameknot.com
He got message from GK that he is suspected of cheating (using computer or help from friends) in team games, and GK banned him.
The "funny" part of this story is that Tomasz was the most dedicated person in Team.
Is that enough?
