Hey mates,
I saw that the match between jongraft and blatman is over, so that means we're about to start the final game as soon as I finish one of my games (I am playing 12 right now).
By the way, I just realised that in every new ladder we start, I am still the top player because of my rating, but it occurred to me that perhaps it would have been more logical if blatman had kept his crown into this new tournament, after beating me in the second ladder.
I know that yanm had stated the rules quite clearly and I don't want to cause confusion, but I was just wondering if this mechanism (= the winner of one or more games starts the next ladder from the step that s/he has conquered) could be appealing to some of you and maybe help to raise interest and enthusiasm for this kind of competition - so that our captain would not have the "sad duty" of actually 'requiring' us to take part.
Any comments are welcome.

I'm think this is rather a good idea. I'm just wondering what would happen with several ladders running at the same time. For example, we are playing three ladders right now: the third, fourth and fifth (misnamed as fourth aslo) ladder...
