Don't you just find it boring when all day long you check Gameknot and none of your opponents have the courtesy to entertain you by moving....
So then you come to the forum, a place where our team mates used to actually communicate and have fun...but which no longer happens...so you are left hoping that someone will actually make a move, and even better several moves...but that does not happen and so then you go back to the forum, but no one has written any thing...so then you start a new thread in which you type a meanderingly long nonsense filled post which no one will read, because no one posts anymore......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

It isn't very polite to fall asleep during a game of chess. You have to stay awake for the whole thing, even if it takes 6 months to finish. I know how you feel about hoping for your opponent to make a move, most of the ones I'm playing move once a day and you won't see them on again, but hey that's what CC is all about, boring your opponent into exhaustion and hoping they make a mistake. =D

glad to see some of it here. I did write Neeta the other day and mentioned we missed her...especially here in the forum...I have no idea why muppy is MIA here. I have been just kind of hanging out as there was no conversation happening here. As to sleeping...it worked 2 people moved while I did. Yea! Now I will go back into hiding for another day and hope someone moves again.

I was off chasing the many tumbleweeds about the place.
I think I am one of those pain in the hiney (tee hee i said hiney) people that never moves.
Since I make a lot of moves at work I will log on..look at the games, close the screen when I am suspect..then repeat this process again when I am in the clear.
That and I have the memory of a goldfish ..'ooh a castle'..swim swim 'ooh a castle'
I am currently playing a game against Muppy, I dare say he may have slumped into a coma due to my long drawn out tactics. So my sincere apologies, let Peter buy you all a beer and a kitten as a token from me. :))
