Subject: Team member gone?!

Message:
How is it possible that a player who is (was?!) a member of my team is not a member anymore, and that I don't know about that? I am captain of the team. Also he is not on my buddy list anymore. The problem is that there is no way I can send him a message, because I don't see the "send message" link anymore when I look at his profile.

That sucks

Message:
When someone joins my team I ask for their email address. This "banning" has happened way too many times to people I know or correspond with. You can't reason or explain anything to GK, just move on. It does leave a bad taste in the mouth for the site when there is no prior warning or even a form correspondence about some perceived violation.

One way you might be able to hear from your ex-member is to post an email address for yourself on your own bio. Just use a new one you make up for that purpose. Chances are your ex-member will still access GK, especially if they still have uncompleted games. If he glances at your own bio or even your team bio and sees a way to contact you and explain what happened it might clear things up. In any case it wouldn't hurt.

Cheers
Maria
