New Co-Captain

Message:
Just a quick message to announce vulcan72 as our newest Co-Captain. He is a team-mate of long standing and good reputation, I have 100% trust in his abilities to help us all.
I'd like to say thanks again at this time to tkdman for all his great work so far as our first Co-Captain. He is tirelessly dedicated to our team, and his help to me in this difficult time (work wise) is beyond value.
I hope vulcan72 can help keep everyone fully stocked with challenging games, I will be in touch again soon.

Have a great weekend all, best regards, mercury_whyte

well i thought I'd get a post in while it was quiet??????

anyhoo! can everyone check their preferences as to how many games they want or the duration of..........i.e. 3 / 5 / 7 day. reason being I'm not as nice as our current skipper and when your setting up team games and they get knocked back because players set their team game numbers too low... its a right pain in the...... ah! i see you are all immediately checking so my job here is done.

cheers vulc

#OUT OF COMMISION#

Message:
I wont be able to add to the heated debate that ensues on this bulletin board for a while, because I'm going into hospital to have something substantially shortened.

so the airwaves are open for the rest of the team to post away to their hearts content.

when i get back i expect........nay!.......demand that every team member has improved on their score if not they will have to go and see miss, and unless we have Max Mosley as a team mate none of you will enjoy the experience so be warned!!!

regards to all
soon to be less well endowed

A fellow Mason huh ?

I’m actually one of the world’s few Masonic chess players, instead of a funny handshake I utilise the little known “Masonic chess move.” Every time I move a piece I lift it up, whirl my arm round four times at a manically fast pace and then SLAM ! the piece down on it’s intended square. Practiced correctly, this is a highly impressive Chess skill and has directly led to many short victories and even shorter draw offers…..there again…. these could be attributed to my advanced Halitosis…..

Masonic chess move!

Message:
LOL.......brilliant......... see this is what this board needs, all of us sharing our playing techniques, i have recently been on the receiving end of mercurywhites and what i find unnerving is, he plays in the nude......he does not tell his opponent this until the tenth move, and as you can imagine it buggered my game up from move 11 onwards.

I've not played tkdman but have heard from a very reliable source that he posts :I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE AND WHEN I GET OUT I WILL FIND YOU!: after every move. intimidating? yes! but not when you find out he is a postman by day.

there are many others in the team with their own quirky ways but we will leave them for another day.

see you all soon
vulc
