Disconnections

Been some time since I played blitz but I did not seem to have any problem then. I was going to pass some time away today (2/26/09) playing blitz but I received disconnection messages while I was trying to move (five different games) and on several attempts to reconnect I received the message that I could only play one blitz game at a time (makes sense to me) but I could not find any other game (blitz) that I had going. What am I missing and what happened to all those other games I was in. I hate being cut off in the middle of any game but I especially hate being chopped out in a winning position!!!

When this happens to me, I usually find that I have a prior sign-in to the blitz area that I have minimized, or else it is on a different browser tab prior to the one I'm using !?
However, this should only happen when you first try to start the new (second) game. I have no idea about a disconnect during an ongoing game. Unless it is simply the "usual" net connection type troubles. Tho must say, I have not been having any of those here at GK for as long as I can remember. None since the D/o/s attack on GK that I can think of.

I would say, shut down all browser windows - avoid having several windows with the same page - perhaps even reboot the whole computer, and log in again.

And probably you are just suffering from an unstable Internet connection.
