 Different boards on annotated games
I presume that the issue is caused by the recent changes on GK.

Yes, I just noticed myself
There is a link in each game for board setting. Since I only have one game going, I don't know if each game board will set seperately, or setting one there would set them all. Anyway, I think what you probably need are the main settings from the Left Menu: Click SETTINGS (used to be called PROFILE on the menu) and then there is a box to check if you want LEGACY board. But directly under that is the Setting for CHESS BOARD and also for CHESS DIAGRAMS.
I have to assume one of those must control the ANNOTATION boards too. My annotation boards were still in the MERIDA style that I had for them before and didn't need changed.

Just click on the diagram and change the settings.

If you are talking about the "click-through version" of the annotation - the one in a pop-up - I wouldn't know what to do.
