 Still No T-SHIRTS!! Ok, send trophies ~! An idea ... There might be the objection, "Isnt it a little cheesy or gauche or something?". To which I answer, "Cmon be a sport, arent real trophies a little cheesy or somthing, but very Chessy!" . [Which allows me to now digress (Hey if you read me, you Knew it would happen! ... There is a story, credit this one to NM_John_Mac_Arthur {hey John, you here?}, about GM Michael Brooks {Hey Mike, you here?} from here at the end of the Chess World, that back in the days when he was but the highest rated IM in history or darn close if not ... He would win a trophy and sell it for $10. Three trophies was a new Informator to be memorized and passed on ... So Trophies Can Be useful. Ask a GM!] I mean GK, you won't spring for giving us a T-shirt or ballcap (Like I won from Leisure Linc for being #4 in the USA, make that The World, in rotisserrie Baseball. And top ten Checkers, sometime in the last Century. This of course relates directly to Chess play since Baseball Pitcher Ken_Jones from KC I believe, played Chess there, and darned good too ... crushing me many times at 10 min. with a Lenningrad Dutch thing. Expert or higher. Good player. Hey Ken you here!?] Anyway, In the past I suggest GK send us a wall hanging for making levels here such as GK_Master, GK_Expert, GK_TopTen, etc. Say a nice PIECE OF PAPER, or something. But alas, GK is helping us save our trees. (But there is Hemp Paper, Papyrus Scrolls, other means, yes? ) So How about a nice little Trophy Room for us ? And GK, you know I always write with a smile on my face. But you could make it a Great Big Smile~! So let me speak for everyone, except those dont agree with me, and say, We all think this is a great and wonderful, awe-inspiring idea~! What do others really think ? |
