No, but it has been suggested before. Maybe GK will implement it one day... or maybe not. For now just use the notes section at the playing board

Why not use the annotated games feature? If we add it to the practice board were you can enter notes for each move, and the ability to save them, that would be just like what the annotated game feature already does (and then some more)...

Practice Chess Board
Yes, but that's not the way I see it.
With the Practice Board feature, I can clear the board (which I'm not able to do with the Annonated Game feature) and create a scinerio with just a few pieces. The only problem is that I'm not able to save the moves like I can with the Annonated Game feature.
Does this make since --- am I missing something?

work around for tquad
1. Set up the scenario you want on the practice board.
2. Export it to a pgn or fen file.
3. Import it to an annotated game.

That leads to an error message (illegal moves detected). Annotated games can only start from the normal beginning position. And I think correctly so, otherwise the section soon will become a mess of bewildering positions (similar to what has been going on in the puzzle section  )

The King is right
Long live the King. I was wrong.
