game postponement questionAll my other games are normally postponed. Are there different rules for mini tournaments? |

the rules are not stated clearlyAs the postponement needed to cover 3 vacation days plus 1 day for the moves, I set the postponement to 4 days. To my surprise, however, the postponement didn't expire for 6 days. It actually covered the 4 days that I'd set, + 2 additional days. |

Gameknot says: "For example, if you'll be away from your computer for 10 days, and you expect to need 2 days to make your moves after returning, please request a 12-day postponement (regardless of the time you have remaining on the clock for any of your games)". It would be nice to see that my vacation days are just added to my games. This happened to all my games except my mini-tournament. Clearly some days were added, but not 4. So if I have 2 days left to make a move and I postpone my games for 4 days I would have 6 days in total. If I have 2 days and 10 hours left, 6 days and 10 hours after postponing. |
