Problem with today's puzzle (4 April)...
Is a belated April Fool? Embarrassing if I'm wrong, but I can see mate in 4 but not 3. I wonder if the pawn on h2 should be black, when there is a mate in 3...though I had better not say what it is!

There is nothing wrong with it. Mate in three.

Well, I find it very odd I can't see the solution as shown but changing the colour of the h2 pawn to black it works...all will be revealed tomorrow, nice twin if you are right...

What is so strange about the position...? In a composed problem it is meant for a solver to discover bit by bit what the composer intended...

...
I solved it. Mate in 3. It's just not as easy as the first three this month.

April 4th
It's definately a mate in three. Solved it & felt it Rated between easy and average. I thought so too, Chessnovice ... the first three this month did seem pretty simple. But I won't complain ...I prefer the easy ones or very hard ones, so as to exercise two of my favorite Chess traits: Analytical Laziness & sense of Challenge }8-D
