Your rating is very high, meaning there are fewer people that could accept the challenge. If others in your rating range are not accepting challenges that match what your asking for, then you will get a message like that. I don't know whether the settings concerning accepting challenges will also affect open challenges. Maybe it does. That would explain a lot. I got a message recently that I could not join my own game given the parameters that I set up. So I change them. Problem solved. |

I can only imagine that GK set such a short time limit to avoid a build up of unchallenged games. While I agree with you the limit seems very short, we can only guess as to how many games there might be waiting for a challenge if they extend it. |

It's seldom one sees any open challenges from players > 2100, and part of the problem is the time-window is too small. Another reason might be is that other players in your situation have given-up and don't bother checking for open challenges any more. I agree that this would be an easy programming problem to fix, and I hope that GK agrees. The length of time an open challenge is posted should be proportional the the player's rating percentile. |

This is why more than 6 hours for an open challenge is necessary.For the time being,unless things change again,my open challenge post "duration" seems appropriate,finally! |
