Cat vs. Dog avatars

It seems to me that more GK players have cat avatars than dog avatars. I also suspect that players with cat avatars are higher rated than those with dog avatars. If anyone cares to bark at me and tell me I'm wrong, please do so .

That's the funniest looking dog I've ever seen. However, I'll bet that being able to fly makes him great FRISBEE catcher. And if he doesn't like someone, does he breathe fire? I've been bitten by a few dogs, but I've never been crisped!

I wonder too now. If Pixie_poodle has an avatar tho, that would put the dog's ahead by one. I think maybe ALL Dogs breathe fire, but so do Cats at dinnertime! ...pass the anchovies please }8-)

Craig's right, it is in fact a birddog that has been carefully trained to catch and cook cats. Nothing like a delicious snack of flame-grilled crispy cat.

Can anyone think of a way to pull up by Avatar search?! (Heinzkat? Hey, there's another smart kat/cat on site! Is avatar search possible?!)

Here is what I've got, anyway. By PLAYER searching:
600 player NIKs having "CAT" in them
108 NIKs with "KITT", as in Kitten or Kitty too
10 NIKs with "PUSS"
*******************
699 player NIKs with "dog" in them
95 with "DAWG"
64 with "PUP"
26 having "MUTT"

Strangely, of the CAT Profiles I looked at, few had ANY personal Avatar, just the GK-Knight.
Some that did have Cat Avatars:
Heinzkat, WETCAT, WILDCATGUY1120 & this one = TOMCAT500 which has a real big Kitty Avatar that just might hunt Bird-Dogs !!~? And besides that has 3 big handsome kittys for the Profile Pic as well, so I'll give the link to that one for your viewing pleasure.

gameknot . com/stats.pl? followed immediately by the NIK with no space nor slash after the "?"

UPDATE ...

Uh oh, Dogs. You may be outnumbered if there is a fight. At least if more Cats were to put up their own Avatar. For I just found:

600 more player NIKs have the letters "kat" in them! Of these however, some may involve the word "skate" and also "katana', & probably some more such words.

And forgot to mention above: Some of the Pups may be "puppets", "pupil", or even "pupu" and "pupee" ?!

The second highest rated player on GK is roDOG, which seems to indicate that dogs are better chess players than cats. But wait: if you check rodog's personal information he has a picture of the five cutest, most cuddly cats you've ever seen, so the jury is still out.
