 Funny story about a blitz chess game I had...Opponent: for a second I was worried there about your name CA: nothing to worry about Opponent: but I realized you are simply bad CA: nah its an opening called the Muller-Schultz gambit (halloween gambit) search it up. CA: youll see its quite good. Opponent: im waiting for the youll see part. The game goes on and and he ends up giving back material to have a fairly equal game. i guess i had a stronger center. Next couple moves I end up taking one of his rooks and he resigns. CA:I thought I was bad? Opponent leaves in silence without a word Just thought Id share that... Im sure many others have had similar experiences. |

I've been arguing with one guy for about ten minutes after he started moaning at someone after he made a bad call. Anyway, we get heads up, I have K3, raise, he goes all in, I call because I've made good money, I'm tired, and besides, he's been ultra aggressive with any two cards on the button, and king high might be good. Anyway, he shows 77. Flop comes down, 77 still leads... turn comes down, 77 still leads... he gets a "See ya!" into the chat bar just as the river king comes down. I simply said "Too early." I went on to win the next three hands to win the tournament. I waited until the river came down on the last hand before saying "gg". He left without a word. |
