Suggestion for Team Ladder- When a team challenges another team, that challenge should be forced. Let's say 3 days to make a selection or the system would make it randomly. That way the ladder would make much more sense (just like regular "solo" ladder). As it stands now, team ladder rank doesn't give some useful information, as teams will generally select players to match and thus a relatively weaker team has ~ 50% chance of winning. Where is the reward for a better team? Even this proposition has a weakness: teams with more members would have advantage, but still. I've just thought of another suggestion: 2) Forget the above, and force teams to "put out" players whose rating sum is +- close to average team rank. That way a relatively weaker team would have to "put out" it's average players (by sum) and not just the better ones (or rather players to match the opposing). Please comment. Thank you for reading. |
