Conditional move question
This may have been answered before but i'm not sure. Why does the conditional move board always state..."one conditional move active" when I may have 3 or 4 conditional moves actively plugged into the game?Shouldn't it really state things like..."3 conditional moves active",for example?Just wondering.Yes,it shows the conditional moves, ect, ect but I do not feel it is an accurate assessment to state "one conditional move active"when I may have 4 or 5 active and waiting for my opponents response, whether he accepts the conditional moves or not.

Thanks heinzkat.I sort of figured that, but I still disagree about "the way"its written out.It states "1 conditional move currently active",not "1 line currently active".Logic dictates that it should say,"conditional line active"or better yet "conditional moves(s)activated",which would be alot more precise, semantically. It is assumed that there will only be one conditional move line present at any given moment,so then, there is really no need to "state"that.Having a conditional move counter would be even a better way of expression statting the # of conditional moves remaining....6 conditional move(s)active,5 conditional moves(s)active, ect. By analogy, the way it seems to be written now would be equivocal to showing someone 3 apples in your hand. Then you say to this person...this is "one apple" or you say this is an apple. The other person says...no,you have 3 apples in your hand and what about it?

I should have said above...after looking at the 3 apples in my hand and placing them on the weight scale its states "one apple".when in reality, its a quantity of 3!Well i'm half asleep now,so i'm prone to my own semantic errors!
