The "real version" is a toolbar, this is merely a button. It can be added to the toolbar already provided by IE.
Had it not been legit, the request for approval to provide the button would not have been granted by GameKnot.
As far as FireFox goes, their newer browser has had this functionality. It allows you to drag the url from the address bar and drop it as a hotlink to the toolbar.
(try either one, makes life easier)

I use the toolbar on my laptop...works great, love it. I prefer Firefox on my PC and would really like a version for Firefox. Any chance of this happening?
