just celebrated my 1.000th win here at Gameknot. Took me 8 years and 4 months.

And not just 1000 wins, rather he has made wins, most often against strong opposition averaging Master category, and always averaging at least Expert except for one brief dip, according to his current Rating Chart. And your Wins being almost Double your number of Draws; and Over Ten-Times the number of Wins than Losses. The accomplishment is beyond "Respectable". Better to be called "First-Rate" and extraordinary ...

Congratulations with your 1000th win, IM Soren - it would be nice if you could get just 3 or 4 more good wins which will take you to 2500 where you will become a Grandmaster!

myself, I have won 10.973 games at gameknot so far, but thats not really important. you play a much higher level of chess, than I do, you are regulary clobbering me on the chessboard. but I am really glad to play you, I am learning a lot. you are also a true and always polite gentleman, so I am glad as well to know you, enjoying our regular discussions, above all about music!
