Dealing with Obstacles and Distractions
In chess and in life, there are distractions and obstacles. However, you should not let them get in the way of a chess game, or you might not play well. That is because you generally rush when you think about those obstacles. Even when you do not rush, your mind is not absorbing the information because you are not concentrating in the chess game. I lost a chess game that I actually should have won because something happened and I dwelled on it during the end game. When something happens that you do not like, it is not a good idea to let it bother you. Therefore, it is a good idea to, "roll with the punches". In addition, "When life throws a lemon at you, make lemonade". After all, bad things happen sometimes, so it is a good idea to move on when an obstacle or a distraction arises because of something bad.
