Searching for practice partners
Hello to everyone. I'm here to practice some typical middlegame formations, or some opening systems that I'm working on. I like to fix one problem at a time. The problem is I can't easily find some guy who is willing to play Karlsbad formation against me with White, or Alapin, or Four Knights with Bb5, etc. Consequently, I'm looking for people who takes pleasure from studying chess and taking it seriously. I think it would be beneficial also for you, analyzing, giving and taking information, etc. My real life Elo is about 2000. Here I lost too many games on timeout, when I gave up GK. Now I need players who likes to play Exchange QGD, Karlsbad formation, with White or Black against me... Not important if you prefer Nge2-f3 or Nf3, or other sideways. Let's do it!

I don't think I'd be strong enough for what you want, but have you thought about starting a thematic mini-tournament for the opening position you want to work on?

2 solutions
1. as jokeslayers suggests 2. manually search for players who play desired systems and challenge them

Re: 2 solutions
1. karlsbad is hard to do thematic, because of different move order preferences, necessity to prevent transpositions, etc. Nevertheless i'll try 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.cxd5 exd5 5.Bg5 2. I'm already doing it for anti-sicilians I'm still waiting for some guy who likes to play QG Exchange Variation
