Dutch chess championship ends in slapstick
translated from a free dutch newspaper:

a bleeding finger caused a hilarious slapstick at the dutch chess hampionship. Leader of the
competition at that time , Anish Giri , had cut his finger on a bottle. When he also noticed blood
behind his ears, he fainted. Het didnt notice it was the same blood from his finger
When medical staff arrived, they also found his opponent in a bad condition. The condition of his
opponent made him almost faint too. The medical staff considered the opponent the worst
victim, even though he tried to convince them it was Anish Giri.

After the medical assistance both players had lost their concentration too much and agreed to a
draw.
