Did I have a win?I was expecting a draw at best, but as you can see I messed up big time... I would have annotated it but these sort of things demotivates me... So, did I have a win of should I have settled for a draw? |

The final situation...But look at the situation at move 55. I think White might have had a winning chance at that point: w A remarkable position: White has 3 pawns one square from promoting! Instead of 55.Kf7, White might have done better first to lure the enemy King onto the 8th rank: 55.c8=Qch Kxc8 56.Kf7 ... [a] 56... Ne5ch 57.Ke6 e1=Q 58.g8=Qch ... The point of the decoy three moves earlier. 58... Kc7 (it makes no difference) 59.Qg7ch Kb6 (say) 60.Qxe5 ... [b]56... e1=Q 57.g8=Qch ... 58.Qxg6 ... and White's passed pawn on the 7th rank looks decisive. |

Ah, I missed that...your variation [b]... Black must have seen that danger too! Oh well, it was still a fun game |
