Well, since non-members like me can't see the game, how about you annotate it? I'd appreciate
it if you leave a comment on each move just so that beginners can follow it!

A joke game...

... Scarcely chess at all, really. Two chaps decided to see how long they could stretch a game of chess, but this implies cooperation rather than competition.

I am reminded, though, of puzzle I read about (never having seen) of a forced mate in something well over 1000 moves. The solution, I gather, involves several knight's tours of all 64 squares of the board. Go figure.

In actual competion games, I have played one game of over 100 moves - the only time ever in my chess-playing history. That game I annotated under the title 'Great Snakes, Batman' (the Opening being the Great Snake). It can be found via my profile...

At 103 moves, this is by no means a competitive record. Not even close. It might interesting to see the game that is...

The games are no longer available. And I wanted to scroll through and study them, too, and
perhaps sent them for computer analysis. Now that would probably have fried GK's mainframe.

I REMEMBER THAT

those guys were crazy. I'm trying to set the record for the longest competitive game (in time)....in this game, both players are playing to win, but just making their move when time is at the lowest.

is a 108 moves i think it could be even longer. but a draw was agreed..

Yup, indeed that was and it is still now only my second Master Draw - hopefully I will add to that tally one day!
