Perhaps two to four months ago i posted a KG game in this forum that ended with O-O# mate being played by WT, from one of my blitz games. It was the "bookend" to a game from about 1982 that I had end with O-O-O# in the Queen's Gambit. The only two castle mates I've had. Well embarrassing thing ... I went and played the game thru afterward to make a scoresheet of it and then posted it here. But now I can't find it anywhere online via GK search or even Google~! I had thought the thread would go onto Google like so many from GK so, and it would be "Saved" forever. Silly me ... this after losing 80%+ of the games And Postal openings repertoire I had ever played to a basement flood, as they were recorded on paper. So I thot I was being Soooo smart this time. Well ... you see how it went. So I would be most grateful if anyone happened to make a copy of that game or thread and could send me one here. Or e-mail, or even just re-post here. An odd and embarrassing request, as well as doubtful. But miracles Do happen sometimes. So I make this plea and prepare to express eternal gratitude. Regards, Craig A.C. PS- As long as asking for miracles ... did anyone happen to know what d-base my game 8thUSCCC section 14, Collister - A. Dunne (1/2 1/2) might be on? Another valued but lost one as it seems it is not on the d-base I recalled it as, hopefully. Or else got removed.
baronderkilt 22-Feb-09, 10:58	PS ... I have tried searching both GK search and Google searches using "ccmcacollister" & "bookend" & variants of "O-O#" but not had good fortune. Any ADVICE also, about how to SEARCH better is much appreciated. I am a computer opposite of Wiz, or Whiz(?). See I can't even Spell It~! }8-(
