CHECKING INTEREST IN A VERY LONG MINI-TOURNAMENT....

Hi. My name is Nathan. I like many others here on gameknot.com have a very busy life. I know that situations in life may get busy and vacations are necessary. So I'd like to set up a tournament for people who face a similar situation as me. We don't feel the need to move quick or have other games we can play if we get bored. This game should lead to some well thought out positions as there may be more time to study. It could also be just a busy life holding you up. Both situations I fully understand. I have been there. So if you are interested in a long mini tournament in which we take our time and move slowly, please let me know. I know I'm not the only one out there that enjoys the thrill of a tournament, but can't find one where I don't feel rushed. Looking for interested people. Please post here. If I get enough interest I will start one. Thanks. -nathan

a tournament with a time control that allows investing time to play real chess

Nathan, having just come from a grueling, Swiss OTB tournament, 3 days of 12-14 hour days, I must say that "the thrill of a tournament without feeling rushed" sounds refreshing, and interesting.
